Feeding now on the blogs in a moment of idleness and wondering why DB doesn’t have a feed, wondering why there is not way to subscribe to DB with Google Reader or something similar.
Indeed, fall has fallen upon us. It’s like the reverse of spring in the northeast then it melts from winter to summer in a weekend. Now summer hangs on and brrrr! it’s cold and the leaves are about to drop before they could even change color.
Heat’s on, and I’m sipping de-natured tea. I pour hot water over the leaves to take most of the caffeine out. At least that’s what Nancy tells me. I’m trying not to get back into regular caffeine consumption because the withdrawal headaches are such a drag. Why do I need to withdraw from tea? I don’t know. Sometimes I do. But is it worth giving up my greatest daily treat? Apparently not.
Great photo of a sight few New Yorkers bother to take in as they rush across the street. Yes, fall came in with a wallop. it seems, though I always felt, having lived here FOREVER, that we certainly don’t drop into Fall in the same manner we go from Winter to Summer in N YC, much as one eneters a room; Indian Summer is usually languid and kind to us, ergo the song, “Autumn in New York”.
Sorry I missed the call to cinematic arms on Friday; for a small flat, I simply do not hear the phone when I am down the hall. I had checked e-mail in the AM and later, heard a “ping” and then the computer fritzed out, so I took that as a sign that the laptop needed a rest.
