I had intended to go to Fairway after my house guest left but it looks as if it is the end of the world here in Manhattan : wind has whipped up and it is increasingly dark out, so I am holed up watching a pretty dreadful Cold War epic with Tyrone Power and my beloved Patricia Neal…..(Diplomatic Courier)
When R J first posted a link to Jean Ruaud’s beautiful pond photos, years ago, I spent much time admiring them: the shapes and textures and various reflections; those pops of fuchsia….and especially the happy little frog. He’s hard to see here, but I remember him fondly.
Merci, for the photos, Jean, if you’re reading this. They’re perfect framed together that way, aren’t they? (And all of those rich shades of green: it’s as though you were thinking specifically of Mr. Keefe when you took the shots!)
Thank you Yvonne ! ^_ ^ They are indeed perfectly framed together forming a beautiful dyptich, the one enhancing the other! And thanks to R J of course. At the time I didn’t know that R J would like this kind of images and colors. I’m moved to see them here, really! !
