¶ Thirteen years doesn’t seem so very long a time (certainly not to anyone my age), but it’s apparently enough for everything to change. Or at least to be invented. Dave Bauer runs you through the tech look and feel of a balmy day in 2000, foreseen as utterly futuristic when it was still to come, only to highlight all the things that were missing.
